Last year 12.733 lakh (1,27373,884) candidates took part in the HSC examinations held under 6 general boards.

In addition to the HSC Vocational (DIBS) under the Madrasa Board under the Alim and Technical Board, two more boards took part. Since the 2020 exam was not held on time, therefore the preparation of the examinees this year is much better than last year.

Barisal education board short information.

Board of Secondary and Higher Education, Barisal was established in 1999. This board is known as (BISE) for a short name.

This board is an autonomous and self-regulatory body for the administration and management of education in Bangladesh. Considering the growing quality and quantity of education in the country, the Barisal Board (BISE) is continuing its efforts to make it a center of excellence for the education system.

Its center point is the display of advanced learning. He also provided special assistance in the formation of committees for the management of schools and colleges.

This board has three important public examinations- JSC (Junior School Certificate), SSC (Secondary School Certificate), and HSC Control all examinations of Barisal Division including (Higher Secondary Certificate).
